Buying Your Home With Me

A Different Kind Of Agent

Unlike traditional brokerages that focus on growing their agent roster, I work for one that carefully selects top-tier professionals. With a background in hospitality, project and team management, custom home management, and formal training in architecture, I bring a well-rounded expertise to every stage of the home-buying process.

Candid Advice

My goal is for clients to truly love the home they purchase. That’s why honesty is at the core of everything I do. If a house isn’t the right fit, I’ll tell you. If I spot red flags, you’ll know about them. My role is to guide, advise, and advocate for you—even if that means sharing hard truths—because finding the right home matters more than just making a sale.

Educated Decisions

Buying a home is one of the biggest investments you’ll ever make, so having a knowledgeable and strategic expert by your side is essential. With my experience, attention to detail, and ability to navigate the unexpected twists and turns of real estate transactions, I’ll make sure you’re informed and confident every step of the way.

Access To Local Resources

Since I’m deeply connected to the local community, my support doesn’t end at closing. I can help you find trusted local resources—whether you need a property manager, gardener, landscaper, pool installer, or contractor—to make settling into your new home as smooth as possible.

7 Steps to Home Buying

1. Questionnaire

I created a questionnaire to get some first step information. That way when we speak for the first time I have a sense of what you want. I can come to the conversation with ideas and more detailed questions (find this in the next section).

2.  Consultation

I am very responsive and will contact you quickly to start your search. We will talk about locations you might be interested in, more in-depth wants and needs for you next home. We will be able to get to know each other better to make sure it's the right fit for you. I'm sure there will be lots of questions and I will dedicate any amount of time needed to figure out our approach to your upstate home buying process.

3. The Search for the Perfect Place

I will get to work with the parameters we set. I have close relationships with many agents and can help get the scoop on new properties coming to market. I am also a Realtor® and use MLS as well as many other sites. I may present some listings that you may not have thought about and can explain why they may work best for you. Once we find a few top of the list places it will be time to go take a look. In many cases with my extensive searches we can find the right place quickly, but I am dedicated to spending as much time as needed until you are certain of the one.

4. Offer

We will discuss a strategy that gets your offer accepted. With my experience, I can guide you to the right price and conditions the seller will accept. It doesn't always take the highest price offered.

5. Inspection

I’ll provide you with a list of trusted, carefully vetted inspectors who can guide you through the inspection process with clarity and ease, ensuring you feel confident every step of the way.

6. Contract

At this stage, your attorney (I have excellent recommendations if you need one)and I will take the lead, guiding you through the next steps and ensuring everything stays on track.

7. Closing

Before you sign the final papers, I’ll walk through the property with you one last time to ensure everything is in order. I’ll also make sure you have everything you need for a smooth closing. Now, let’s get you those keys!
